Santana
Who says Santana, says Carlos Santana, the only constant factor in this legendary Latin rock band.
Founded in 1966 as the Santana Blues Band. later shortened to Santana. Carlos Santana himself was born in 1947 as a Mexican-American guitarist. Well-known songs by Santana are of course "Black Magic Woman and Oye Como Va. I only saw them perform once in 2013 at the North Sea Jazz.
Santana
The actually self-titled album was originally released in 1969 with the single Evil Ways.
With at least the original founding members, Carlos Santana, Dave Brown and Gregg Rolie. This album and the performance at Woodstock marked their breakthrough.
Rating
Better than the 2007 version of MFSL, back then at 33 rpm. Krieg Wunderlich and Shawn R. Britton have delivered a nice audiophile product here. Apart from the great music, this is also an excellent double LP in terms of quality and pressing.
