Rock and audiophile don't usually go together. Reap the storm of the German rock formation Wucan is a lucky exception. The Heavy Kräutrock Band with Francis Tobolsky on flute, rhythm guitar and vocals, Tim George (lead guitar) and Patrik Dröge (bass guitar) and Philip Knöfel on drum, percussion blows a good deal of classic rock, stoner and metal from the speakers. Unlike many rock LPs, the voice of Francis, the individual musical instruments, is constantly recognizable. Lovers of rock and a good quality pressing and recording? Then it must be on the shelf.
