Nightfall by trumpet and flugelhorn player Till Brönner and bassist Dieter Ilg is a minimalist recording of, in most songs, an intriguing combination of two instruments. Wonderful recording. This audiophile double LP on 180 grams black vinyl is recorded in Schloss Elmau, Krün, Germany in October 2017. Famous songs including Eleanor Rigby, The Fifth by Beethoven and Nobody else but me by Oscar Hammerstein in a completely new and surprising jacket. The cover with Lisa Tomaschewsky may say more about the music than the above text. Surprisingly beautiful!
