Lightnin' Strikes
Without Samuel B. Charter this LP would not have existed. After a 5-year search, Samuel found this Lightnin' Hopkins. Probably one of the last great Blues singers. Lightnin' Hopkins has released many LPs, mostly on 78 rpm. His background and lack of commercial properties as well as the lack of a record company have long kept him hidden from the general public. Lightnin' Strikes contains 9 wonderful blues songs. Lightnin is no stranger to fans of Boerderij Van Dorst.
