Jennifer Warnes

Jennifer Warnes is an American singer who was offered a recording contract at the age of 7. The singer has sung in a background choir by Leonard Cohen. Audiophile know her from the famous LP, Famous blue raincoat with songs from Leonard Cohen. Jennifer has been active for more than 50 years.

Production

Impex Records released this LP in 2019. Bernie Grundman provided the mastering. The pressing is done at Record Technology Inc. The LP with 10 songs on it comes with a beautiful photo album with the lyrics of the songs.

Rating

A very carefully produced LP on 180 grams of vinyl. The instruments are easy to follow individually and the voice of Jennifer recognizable and nicely placed. An absolute favorite when listening was the song Tomorrow night with Jim Cox on Hammond. The Hammond is almost tangible.
