Eddie 9V
Brooks Mason (stage name Eddie 9V) was born in 1996 in Atlanta. At six he got his first guitar and his first band was the cover band Smokin Frogs and then the blues rock band The Georgia Flood. The German label Ruf Record (including Walter Trout and Luther Allison) has recorded with Eddie Little Black Flies. Eddie loves to convey the live sound and atmosphere, so it was all recorded live at Atlanta's Echo Deco Studios, with no overdubs.

In terms of genres, the main part is blues rock, but slow blues, soul and Mississippi blues also pass by. This makes it a very interesting LP for blues fans. 12 tracks with the highlight (matter of taste of course) for me Columbus Zoo Blues. I like it.

On the edge of audiophile. You should therefore not buy Little Black Flies to get an excellent audiophile gem, but an LP with perfect and interesting blues rock with sufficient quality.
