Dave Liebman
David Liebman was born on September 4, 1946 in Brooklyn and is an American saxophonist and flautist.
Liebman started out on the piano but discovered to play the saxophone when he was twelve. After hearing John Coltrane play, he turned to Jazz.

Expansions (Selflessness)
It is obvious that his great inspiration lies at the heart of this LP with music by John Coltrane. With the exception of track 3, which was composed by Oscar Hammerstein, they are all Coltrane compositions. The LP is a limited edition of 500.

Rating
mr. day starts with an impressive bass from Tony Marino, followed by the drums from Alex Ritz. Sufficient detailing and internship.
